All Motone Billet Mirrors use real automotive glass components in our mirror products due in part to the scratch resistant nature of the engineered glass. Surface - polished aluminium or other reflective surfaces cannot hold up to the same level of scratch resistance. The other key advantage of using engineered glass means Motone is able to achieve a R1400 lever of reflection (much wider angle than flat aluminium/non automotive glass).
